Hello! My name is Jewel and I’ve been struggling with acne since I was eleven years old. I’m close to nineteen now and I still struggle with my acne. These are some tips and pointers that I learned within the past years that have really helped me! I’d show pictures, but they’re too embarrassing. My skin has cleared up really well in the past two or three years and I’ve succeeded in getting rid of dark spot/scars!

First, you should try to prevent your acne from getting too far along to where you can’t do anything about it.

• Drink lots of water and/or hot tea (without sugar). You can add a little bit of lemon juice if you’d like. Juice has too much sugar unless it’s 100% natural. Soda is just plain bad.
• Eat your fruits and vegetables. Just like your parent probably said when you were younger, eat them because they’re good for you. They keep your skin naturally healthy.
• Wash your face everyday. This will keep the pores from getting clogged up. Dry your face with a soft towel, patting it dry rather than wiping it dry. That will irritate your skin. Don’t use heavy skin creams.
• [Exfoliate! Scrub lightly when washing to remove the dead skin cells on your face c:]
• Whenever you go out into the sun, or wind (or natural elements?), make sure to protect your skin!! Use an SPF 10-20 sunblock made especially for faces and sensitive skin. These tend to be lighter creams than regular sunblock. This will keep your skin moisturized and protected from the sun. Too much sun will wear your skin out.
• Keep your hair out of your face! When you go to bed at night, try to sleep on your back. If this is too uncomfortable, pin your hair up and/or away from your face because the natural oils in your hair will get on your face, which already has natural oils. 
• [Wash your hair regularly. This keeps the oil from building up.]
• Try to eat less red meat.
• Don’t touch your face!! Your fingers already have a natural oil on them and touching your face spreads this oil. Because this is hard to follow, keep your hands clean at all times. Carry hand sanitizer around with you so that you’re always touching your face with clean hands.

Next, you want to get rid of your acne. Well, technically, you can’t get rid of your acne because acne is a normal part of life. If you have it, you have it. These are things you can do to rid your face of scars and new acne.

• When you have a new blemish forming, don’t pick. Just wash your face as normal and don’t pay any mind to it. Picking at them or “popping” them will cause the bacteria to spread all over your face. Blemishes and zits tend to disappear faster when you don’t bother them.
• To help with your dark spots (that will sooner end up permanent), use a light skin even-ing cream to even out your skin tone and lighten the dark spots. Make sure that whichever skin cream you find is right for your skin. Not too oily and not too dry. Not too thick and not too acidic.

Just go to google translator. Put both languages as Korean. Type in the hangul.Click translate. Then click “Read Phonetically” and the whole thing will be properly romanized.
